In the footsteps of the reformer Martin Luther
Day 1 - Eisenach and Erfurt:
Visit Luther’s house and Wartburg Castle with Luther’s room
in Eisenach. Continue to Erfurt.
Guided tour of the Augustinian monastery and an evening walk through
the historic city centre.
Day 2 - Eisleben and Leipzig:
Guided walk through Eisleben including a visit to the house where
Luther was born and where he died, the churches of St. Peter and
Paul and St. Andrew’s. On to Leipzig via Halle.
Day 3 - Torgau and Wittenberg:
Visit the Castle Church in the Hartenfels Castle of Torgau and St.
Mary’s (with the grave of Luther’s wife Katharina von
Bora).
Guided tour of Wittenberg including a visit to the Castle church
and main church as well as Luther’sHall.
Day 4 - Leipzig: Guided tour in the morning.
Then journey home.
