Romantic Trail

Day 2 - Royal castles:
Visit the royal castles in Hohenschwangau.
First you will stop at Hohenschwangau Castle, where the "Fairy Tale King“ Ludwig II spent some of his youth.

Then you will enjoy a tour of the enchanting fantacy castle Neuschwanstein. Guided walk of Füssen in the afternoon. In the evening there is a possibility to visit the musical "Ludwig II - Longing for Paradise“.

Day 3 - Füssen-Augsburg:
Follow the Romantic trail. Visit the baroque Wies Church, continue to Rottenbuch where you will see the Stifts Church. Via Peiting and Schongau you will reach Landsberg on the River Lech with its well-known Gothic Bayer gate. Continue via Friedberg to Augsburg where you will spend the night.

Day 4 - Augsburg:
This day is dedicated to the once might town of the Fuggers. On
a guided tour of the town you will be made familiar with the main sights. In the afternoon there is time for visits to some of the sights.

Day 5 - Augsburg - Rothenburg o. d. T.:
The Romantic trail leads you to Donauwörth. Continue via Harburg
to Nördlingen. Guided tour of the town. Past Wallerstein, Dinkelsbühl, Feuchtwangen with a market square typical for the region and Schillingsfürst you will reach Rothenburg o. d. T. where you will spend the night.

Day 6 - Rothenburg o. d. T. - Würzburg:
The old town Rothenburg still locks very much like the town that managed to escape the 30-year war in the 17th century largely undamaged.
On a guided walk of the town you will be made familiar with the main sights. Continue on the Romantic trail via Creglingen, Weikersheim and Bad Mergentheim to Würzburg where you will stay overnight.

Day 7 - Würzburg:
Tour of the old episcopal town.
Departure or further programme: Bayreuth, Nuremberg, Munich
