Austria Tour, Vienna - Salzburg
Day 1 - Arrival in Vienna.
Guided tour and walk of the city,including a tour of Schönbrunn
Palace and the possibility of visiting St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
Day 2 - Panorama-tour to Kahlenberg
and Leopoldsberg hill. Stop in Grinzing for lunch and wine-tasting
in a local wine restaurant.
Day 3 - Travel via St. Pölten
to the romantic Danube valley. Guided walk of Dürnstein, the
town where Richard Lionsheart was arrested. Guided tour of Melk
Monastery. Continue to Salzburg where you will stay overnight
Day 4 - Guided walk of Salzburg
in the morning, including a visit to the Mozart House. In the afternoon
panorama-tour to the castles Leopoldskron and Hellbrunn
and the fortress Hohensalzburg.
Day 5 - Departure or further programme:
Visit Bregenz in the festival season; Munich; Romantic Trail
