Day 1 - Arrival in Prague.
Welcome by your special tour guide. Short informative walk through
the city centre.
Spend the evening in one of Prague's many
restaurants or attend a Laterna Magika performance.
Day 2 - Visit the art-galery at Prague castle.
Make use of the opportunity to draw or paint
one of the famous views of the Golden City,
like Charles Bridge, Prague castle or the Old Town Square.
Day 3 - Travel to Melnik
at the confluence of the rivers Vltava and Elbe.
Draw or paint the silhouette of the town or the castle Schreckenstein
near Usti, famous thanks to Ludwig Richter's picture "Crossing
the Elbe near Schreckenstein".
Day 4 - Travel to Saxon Switzland,
that owes its name to two Swiss painters (Zingg and Graff). Visit
the Robert-Sterl-House, refuge and studio of the well-known late
impressionist.
Draw or paint one of the motives dicovered by the Romanticists,
like the "Uttenwald Ground" by C.D. Friedrich or the "View
of Pirna" by B. Beletto (Canaletto).
Day 5 - Guided walk of Dresden.
Stroll through the historical centre
and visit the art-galeries. Draw or
paint a view of the city or one of its famous buildings.
Day 6 - Tour to Meissen's
porcelain factory. Possibility to attend the course "Drawing
and painting on paper" in the porcelain painter's studio.
Day 7 - Departure/Further programmes:
Porcelain painting course Meissen (3-5 days)
Painting in the historical Cranach-House in Wittenberg (2-6 days)
